In 2021, The Village at Providence Point—A National Lutheran Community passed several milestones on the journey from dream to reality — and we couldn’t be prouder of our talented team who have worked so hard to make this happen.

As we close out the year, here’s a rundown of some of the most exciting developments at Providence Point. 

Our model apartment brings Providence Point to life

Between now and our expected opening in 2024, you don’t need to take our word for it when we describe the most elegant, spacious apartments in the Mid-Atlantic region. You can step into our model and see it for yourself. Few people can mentally translate a floor plan into a 3D space where they eat, sleep, relax and entertain. The model apartment does that for us, placing you smack dab in the middle of your new home. Now furnished and decorated, the two-bed, two-bath Magothy (named for the river) is the jewel in the crown of our new sales center.

Did we mention our new sales center? It’s worth repeating because this roomy, luxurious facility has everything we need to welcome you and get you excited about life at The Village at Providence Point. Within the sales center we have:

• An event space where we can tell our story without having to “hit the road.” With an 82” television screen for presentations and seating for up to 40 guests, we can offer large groups a first-rate audiovisual experience. We can also offer you refreshments from the attached kitchen. 
• The discovery room, where we can get to know you in a cozy, intimate setting and talk you through floor plans and other important information. It’s an inviting space that will immediately put you at ease.
• The model apartment, where prospective residents can get a feel for what the actual spaces will look like.
• The selections gallery, where you can browse, evaluate and select your home’s interiors. We think of this as a “maker’s space” where you can unleash your creativity and start planning your beautiful new home. 
  

Reservations are ramping up

We’re keeping pace with all our targets and finished 2021 with a highly successful “push,” which gives us momentum going into the new year.  There’s such excitement around the community, and we have several floor plans already fully reserved, with new reservations coming in on a weekly, sometimes even a daily, basis. 

The return of in-person gatherings has been a game-changer

Technology is a wonderful tool, but it’s hard to plan your future based on a Zoom meeting. Many of you have told us that our get-togethers were the first group activity you attended since the start of the pandemic. That has helped create a bond and sense of trust between you, our prospective residents, and us. It doesn’t surprise us that each in-person event has resulted in at least one new reservation.
