Light at the End of the Tunnel!

After a fourth round of public hearings last week, there's light at the end of the tunnel! The Village at Providence Point's project team finished its formal presentations Thursday, Feb. 3, highlighting various aspects of land use and the property's history. The City of Annapolis's Planning Commission will keep public comment open until the next virtual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. This will also allow time for the Commission to further digest the application before it goes to a vote. This submittal, which includes a forest conservation plan, a subdivision plan and site plan, amends the previous May 2020 filing. This recent filing is a response to collaborative feedback from the City of Annapolis and Annapolis community members.

Rockville, MD- National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS) filed an amended planned unit development application with the City of Annapolis on May 4, 2020, for its proposed continuing care retirement community The Village at Providence Point—A National Lutheran Community. This submittal, which includes a forest conservation plan, a subdivision plan and site plan, amends the previous January 22, 2019 filing. This amended May filing comes after receiving feedback in the summer and fall of 2019 from the City of Annapolis and Annapolis community members regarding the previous submission.
